Each session is individualized for your current needs, both emotionally and physically. Whether it’s Yoga or Reiki, or both in the same session,
we will always take the time to evaluate how you are doing that day, and shape each practice around how you feel.
The goal with Yoga is to reconnect with who you truly are, and to make steady, gentle progress that your mind and body can benefit from long term.
Whether it’s physical goals you have your heart set on, healing from emotional or physical trauma, navigating your way through depression and/or anxiety, all of the above, or anything at all — the practice of Yoga can benefit, enhance and bring to light all that you are striving for.
YOGA NIDRA / IREST
Yoga Nidra (or Yogic Sleep) is a process of guided meditation done while lying down. It is known to induce profound relaxation in the body and mind, eliminate stress, overcome insomnia, resolve trauma, and help overcome anxiety, fear, anger and depression.
Yoga Nidra can help soften and remove the obstacles that stand in the way of leading your most enjoyable, most authentic life.
Reiki is a system of vibrational or spiritual healing that promotes homeostatic balance in the body and mind.In its most simple translation, Reiki means “spiritual energy,” and is intelligent, self-organizing, and accumulative in its effects.
Reiki uses non-invasive, gentle touch to accelerate the body’s natural healing processes, support mental and emotional healing, and give an overall sense of profound well-being.
Both Reiki and Yoga have had a profound effect on my life. I attribute the joy, peace and mental and physical balance that I experience in my daily life to these incredible practices. My passion and life’s work is to share my depth of knowledge and personal experience with others, in hopes that everyone can learn to access that quiet place inside ... and then stay a while.
I completed my initial Yoga teacher training at Satchidananda Ashram and am an RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. I’m also a Level 1 Teacher in Training with the Integrative Restoration Institute (iRest), and have studied LifeForce Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, and Yoga Psychology. In 2012 I received the distinction of Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage of Reiki, after my extensive studies at the Open Center in New York City.
Though I love to share both Reiki and Yoga with everyone in need, I place a special focus on those living with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD. I have lived with depression and anxiety for most of my life. I know all to well the panic, fear, agony and pain of these afflictions.
It was Yoga and Reiki that led me down the path of healing that I am on today, and I sincerely believe they can do the same for you.
